Beneath The Mask

We got to know Alex in Jacob Finding His Way. When he got arrested and sentenced is where his story picked up. We got to know a lot more of Alex and what made him do what he did then just he was just redeeming his father’s honor.

Alex isn’t your typical gang member or gang leader for that fact. He has a few tac’s but not where people could see them. He takes pride in the way he looks and presents himself. Although much of the time he dressed as a gangster.

One of Alex’s darkest secrets that no one knew was that he is gay. He himself didn’t want to deal with that until he met Matt in Juvenile Dentition. From that moment on his life had changed.

Although his father demanded of him to run the Juvenile Detention Facility, Alex didn’t, but did it in order to live. Each time he tried to change his life, the gang life kept pulling him back in. From running things into the prison system, to ordering hits and beatings, Alex couldn’t get away from the life he never once wanted to be in.

When Mr. Henderson, the Juvenile Detention Director slipped up and spoke in the hallway with Officer Jackson about what Alex was helping him with, he was going to be a gift. Because of that mistake, Alex and a couple of others got out before their time. Although they were placed on the anklets, they were in the free.

Once Alex was out, he stayed far away from the gang and put his life together. With the help from Jacob, he started his own print shop. Where he and Matt went in part owners. He made his mother proud and showed her the son she knew he was. Just like Franseca, the day when Alex III passed away was the greatest day in Alex’s life.
