Took a awhile to get caught up on Jacob but i am there now, i started reading this story and i have stayed up late many’s of nights to reading it, have laughed, cried, and pouted thur out it, i have been in EL Paso a lot of times for one thing or another, have enjoyed each visit there, if this story is somewhat half true or all true, my next trip will be to one of the McDonalds just to sit and daydream of what this story was talking about, keep up the good work on the chapters, waiting to see more
I read a comment made by ED in 2012 that he states that there is no Dewayne in Jacob’s life, but there was a Joey and Chase, but now there is no Joey, I guess i can just go along with this story as fictional except maybe the first chapter..so there is no house that Jacob is building, no house fire, no hotel, no shooting, not all the health problems that jacob had, not all the guys living with Jacob, but that is ok, this book and all the others ones have been great stories to read, do hope the real Jacob has a partner in his life that is there for him and loves him for who he is…Jacob just a little something for me to say…my godson was gay and he did not have a easy life, he was used by his parents and got caught helping them and had to do some jail time cause of them, his partner was not good for him, i tried to help but he was on the east coast and me on the west coast, we web cam almost everyday when he was released and i was thinking just maybe he was getting better but some of the things i was seeing and hearing his family was doing i just knew all hell was to fall apart again, then the hardest day of my life came when i got a message that Phil was hit by a car and did not make it, ( found out later that he was making a run for his mom that was not for the good), i know he is upstairs with god on his right side looking down and watching over all of us, he left us at the age of 21 with a loving heart. Jacob you keep writing your stories and keep your head held high don’t you ever let anybody belittle you for who you are, i would always be proud of any young man that can stand with there head held high and be proud of who they are.
I sure hope when you rewrite this story you leave the original one alone, i have read that story over and over and it would be just be wrong if you take it off this site…just add a complete different story title for the rewrite….please leave the original one alone 🙁
I have to concur with those who want the new story to be separate. I like this one and totally get why you want the rewrite. At least leave both up for us to compare for a year or two. Thanks for all your hard work Jacob.
btw, what happened to being able to right click on your links? I used to open cast lists to follow in story and also multiple stories to figure out character
nuances. Now I can only proceed with one.
