Gloria became a single parent the minute she had Jacob. Trying to make ends meet, she married Marie’s father, but it didn’t last. Now on her own, she had four kids to support. In 1984 she up rooted her family and moved them from Cheyenne Wyoming to El Paso Texas for a better job.
Still struggling and now having teenage kids on her hands, Gloria had a problem keeping things calm at her house. Between Andy III refusing to go to school and getting into trouble to Jacob getting shot at school and then having cancer, she was at the end of her rope.
Still unwilling to give up, she moved her family from the central side of El Paso to the west side in order to get Andy back into school and Jacob away from the kid trying to hurt him. Things at first looked like they were working, but Andy dropped out. Then the problems with the kid trying to harm Jacob didn’t end either.
After finding out her son, Jacob, was gay, she had enough. The hard-working mother who did anything for her kids just had enough. She tried to change her son Jacob from being gay, but she landed up straining her relationship with her entire family. It took her boy’s father to come back in order for her to return to the woman her sons and Andy II knew. Trying everything she could, Gloria wants to correct the wrong she did with her kids.
