Dewayne Sheppard

Dewayne Sheppard is a young man living in a nightmare at home. He came out to his parents and they didn’t take the news to well. They didn’t make Dewayne’s life a living hell, but they stopped caring for him. They lived in the same house, but were more like strangers. The parents went on with their lives ignoring Dewayne’s The only time they talked was when they had no other choice but to do so.

Dewayne worked at the local McDonald’s where he first saw Jacob. Unknowing to Jacob, Dewayne couldn’t keep his eyes off of Jacob when Jacob first stepped in the store.

Jacob saw him as well and started going to the MacDonald’s just to get a glimpse of Dewayne. He landed up helping Dewayne out of a mess with the stores assistant manager one day. At that point Jacob and his grandfather owned the stores and Jacob was not going to sit by and allow anyone, no matter who they were, to be treated in the fashion that manager treated Dewayne.

Dewayne and Jacob met and then started going out with each other. It didn’t take long for the two hit it off and eventually Dewayne moved in with Jacob. At first they didn’t sleep together, Dewayne stayed in the apartment down in the basement. Soon though they started to stay in the same room all the time, Dewayne decided to move into Jacob’s room because both of them felt it made more sense since they were already sleeping together all the time.

As they became boyfriends, Dewayne moves away from McDonald’s and eventually became part owner with Tony, Jacob’s adopted uncle, to the 7-eleven franchise in El Paso. At the same time he started to attend community college.

He is willing to go where ever Jacob goes and do what ever Jacob does. Still there is a big difference between him and Joey. Unlike Joey, Dewayne is a lot stronger of a person. Not depended on Jacob and not always leaning on Jacob. He in fact helps Jacob and allows Jacob to lean on him when Jacob needs to. Something a lot different then his first relationship. The pressure of the relationship is equally split between Dewayne and Jacob.
