This is the main hall in El Paso High School, (Newman High). Where you see the security standing guard standing at, he is in front of the auditorium. The place where Alex had his mock trial at.
A look at the same hall, but empty. Thanks to my proof reader, he found that El Paso High School was open in 1888. I knew it opened around that time, but I wasn’t that for sure of the date. Now keep in mind. much of El Paso wasn’t built back then, so the school district wasn’t called El Paso Independent School District. (EPIS).

It all depends where you read at. I see some web sites say 1916 but some say 1889. I have pictures of the school that have the date on them of 1900. It appears good record keeping was not done during this time and none of us were there to prove otherwise so we will stick with what we have. It is mostly a fiction story anyway. You probably didn’t notice that we called the school by a different name at first before we decided to change it to El Paso High in the story. Keep watching though. I enjoy the history and the facts of the story. It is really a game to keep everyone with the right boyfriend/girlfriend in each of the four stories and who is doing what each day of the week so I don’t have Alex on a date in Joeys story and home watching TV in his story. I love keeping our author on his toes.
