Jacob Finding His Way!

How Jacob’s smart house works:

Keep an eye on the list because it will constantly be changing!

  1. Master control computer is in the panic room. There is a remote system in J&D’s bedroom but that can be disconnected from the control panel in the panic room.
  2. There are no TV’s shown in the house blue prints or pictures, but every room has one besides the main theatre room.
  3. There are as well computer’s and telephone lines in every room.
  4. The computer in the panic room is the brains of the smart house. It controls every function in the house either by voice command or by a person walking into a room.
  5. There are speakers in every single room, outside, hallways and tunnels so the computer can hear and be talked to no matter where the person is in the house or on the grounds.
  6. The computer is aware of where everyone is at by their heat signature. Each person has a different heat signature so in return the computer knows who is who.
  7. The tunnels are always locked so they cannot be used to break in. J or D can open them by voice control in an emergency or at any other time they wish.
  8. The speakers that are in the ceiling of every part of the house can be used to page anyone thru the computer. Example: “computer, page Tony to the gym”. It will be announced by the computer to the whole house or the computer can find Tony and talk to him personally.
  9. There are different levels of security for the house computer and the computer knows them by voice. J&D can ask the computer to do anything but if Chase were to ask something of the computer it might not be on his list of granted requests. Of course, J&D are the only ones that can change the individual persons request list in the computer.
  10. Alex does not know it but he is granted full control on the house computer. It is set up for an emergency in case that Jacob is hurt, he can say a set of words to the computer, and it will open the full access for Alex. The same if Jacob was not home and they called him to say there was an emergency. He could tell Alex on the phone what to say aloud to the computer and he would be granted full access.
  11. All doors are electronic and can be unlocked by voice to the computer. Again, depending on your security level, you can ask the computer to unlock a door but only if it is on your list. Not everyone can open the door to J&D’s room for example.
  12. To gain access to the panic room there is a finger print reader and a retina reader at the door. You must put your finger on the reader and look into the camera and be recognized by the computer for that door to open. There is no lock and no handle to open it. This room can be used in an emergency even if J or D are not at home. The vault that is in the panic room is locked and alarmed with only J&D having access to it.
  13. The gym is also a good shelter. Since it is underground, it would be an excellent tornado shelter or possible panic room if needed. The floor above is cement and as all four walls.
  14. There is security for the house 24 hours a day. As there are people coming and going 24 hours a day, it is up to the computer to do face recognition. There are cameras at every door, all over the property and cameras covering every inch of the inside of the house. If the computer sees someone that it does not recognize it will alert the right people. When visitors are brought into the house, they must be announced to the computer by name by one of the people that live there so the computer knows who they are from that point on.
  15. The only rooms with the cameras shut off are the individual suites. Those would only be used in an emergency. There are no cameras in the bathrooms.
  16. J&D can lock down their suite at night when sleeping by just telling the computer to do so. If someone were actually able to make it through the security and onto their deck and try the door while they are on sleep mode all their doors would lock even tighter with metal plates coming down very fast over the doors and windows blocking those and locking down their suite tight.
  17. The computer knows Cupid, keeps an eye on her, and always is aware of where she is. This is the same for Jeremy. If he ever leaves the house, it is announced to everyone in code. “This is a Code J at the pool door”.
  18. The spiral staircase in J&D’s suite has a door at each floor level and those are always closed and locked. You cannot just walk onto the stairs and down into the panic room. Again, they are voice activated and once they are in the panic room, that staircase is sealed off and airtight from the panic room.
  19. If anyone remembers Star Trek, Next Generation, this computer runs off the same principal. The computer controls everything in the background, you talk to it, and it talks back to you through the speakers in each room of the house.  You could be running through the house and still be talking to the computer.
